Project Canaan - Swaziland
Be a part of the Next 90 Acres
In June 2009 this raw land in Swaziland was purchased, dedicated and the development began immediately. In six short months dams were built, wells dug, a Farm Directors building completed and African workers hired. The first 30 acres of land was cleared and prepared and the seeds went in the ground on November 5, 2009.The first harvest was completed in March, 2010 and the maize was donated to our three partner orphanages as will be sold for profit to be reinvested in the land.
We are ready to clear and develop the next 90 acres immediately, but need the funds to proceed. Can you help? Your donation of $5,000 will go towards clearing and planting one acre of land and will help with some capital costs such as irrigation. We plan to start building the first home for abandoned babies on the land in July, 2010, but must have the agriculture project well underway so that we can provide for and care for these children.
Today is the day to take action and be a part of the solution by investing in "The Next 90" with your donation today.
