Project Canaan Coffee Company
Project Canaan’s 2500 acres in Swaziland holds endless opportunity for self-sustainability and philanthropic vision. The Project Canaan Coffee Company is one example of the possibilities perched on the horizon of HOPE in Swaziland.
With coffee being the second largest agricultural commodity in the world and employing over 25 million people worldwide, there is great potential for Project Canaan and Swaziland to join the 50 other countries who currently export coffee. Coffee grown, harvested, and sold from Project Canaan will have a unique purpose; not only will it taste great in your morning cup, but it will also generate an income to further agricultural development in Swaziland, ultimately benefiting the children there.
Coffee production at Project Canaan will develop through a three phase strategy:
- Phase 1 – Sell African coffee beans under Project Canaan name to raise funds for the development of coffee growth and production on Canaan.
- Phase 2 – Provide training and employment of roasting and packaging of beans.
- Phase 3 – Grow, roast, and package beans on Project Canaan with maximum profit realized back to Project Canaan.
With the long range goal of Phase 3 in the forefront of our plans, we would greatly appreciate you support as we currently work to accomplish Phase 1.
We invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee with us, share a cup with a friend, give a bag to a neighbor, and then enjoy knowing your gift helped make a difference on the other side of the world.
