ISO Building

The primary objective of this facility is to guarantee high quality produce that can be exported within international standards. The overall goal is to offer outstanding quality, which will in return enable the project earn higher income margins, as a result of high prices accrued.

A state of the art food packaging facility is critical for Project Canaan to achieve high levels of profitability through export.  This ISO* building will serve the handling, grading, packing and cold storage of fresh farm produce. The 4,520 sq. ft facility will be a HACCP* and GLOBAL GAP certified processing unit. The two certification processes are dependent on ISO** standards. The facility will encompass a grading room with the capacity of sorting over 25,000 pounds of vegetables per day. A cold room will have the capacity to store 75,000+ pounds of produce, which will enable longer shelf life of farm produce for exported. A hygiene changing room and storage will also be within the facility.  Daily audit protocols will be followed in the sorting and packing of produce to insure that all international regulations are strictly followed.
